With 87% of the Chinese ride sharing market Didi was leaving Uber far behind.įounded in 2012 in Beijing, Didi Chunxing is one of the most valuable start-ups in China worth around $28 billion. Today Uber announced that its selling its business in China to the biggest local rival – Didi Chuxing. After a two-year battle that cost the ride-hailing firm $2 billion it decided to give up as its market share in China did not grow as anticipated. On the other hand there are in app purchases that Niantic would like you to use more often, so their final motivations behind different actions are not 100% clear. Bugs in the app are not a secret but we should be a bit forgiving as it’s free of charge. Niantic was clearly not prepared for such a success and now it has to balance the tasks of completing an unfinished product while maintaining the game’s quality and expanding geographically to keep the momentum and user growth. It doesn’t mean that the app features won’t come back in a better and improved form but today you’ll have to live without them. The company also killed the apps’ battery-saving mode on iOS. All these decisions have angered and upset Pokémon Go fans around the world. Niantic decided to get rid of the partly broken tracking feature that players used to find out the approximate distance to nearby monsters. The change coincided with another unpopular decisions. The company commented that third-party apps where taking to much of its servers capacity that interfered with the company’s ability to “maintain quality of service” and bring the game to new markets. As a result popular services like PokeVision or Find ‚Em All stopped working. ![]() Niantic – the company behind the app decided to make it more difficult for the 3rd party developers to access Pokémon location information. The Silph Road is to Pokemon GO what Serebii is to the main series and competitive Pokemon.I guess that not all of the recent news about Pokémon Go updates made you happy. There’s a list of strongest moves, strongest Pokemon, and even the Raid bosses for the given month. On top of that, though, they have a library of statistics for Pokemon. They have the typical information on Gym locations, Raids and nests. This site covers most of what others do and more. While all of these map trackers have their merits, The Silph Road is arguably the best of all of them. These guides range from many topics including the mechanics of a battle, which Pokemon are best, and information on tournaments. To go along with this is a very extensive list of guides that can get beginners up to speed in Pokemon GO PvP. Go Map features a Pokedex that can give trainers everything they’d want to know about a Pokemon, stats and all. Go Map is a very detailed site that keeps a good eye on the locations for PokeStops, Gyms and Nests.This can also be a big resource for PvP players. Obviously, EX Raid battles are on hiatus due to the pandemic, but they likely will be a popular feature when they return. One interesting feature that they offer is that they note which Gyms have EX Raid passes and which do not. They also keep information on Gym and Raid locations. PoGoMap keeps a good record of which Pokemon are spawning at which nests. ![]() This will be a great tool for trainers that are dedicated to catching em’ all (or at least as much as possible). Another map tracker that will work for any area is PoGoMap.
